Trump Coronavirus Vaccine Press Briefing 9/16/2020: 100 Million Doses Coming By End Of Year
President Trump, speaking now in a live press briefer from the White House, referred to the novel coronavirus COVID-19 multiple times as the “China Virus,” ratcheting up rhetoric that the virus originated in China. He also emphasized the fact that the fatality rate has fallen sharply in the US, stated he believes at least “100 million” doses of a vaccine will be available by end of 2020, provided regulators approve it.
President Trump spoke Wednesday, September 16 on a coming vaccine rollout, which will be focused on elderly and vulnerable populations.
"As soon as it's given the go ahead, they're doing trials as you know," Trump said of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan.
The President also touted the success of the testing programs in identifying & controlling COVID-19 infections.
