UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson Tested POSITIVE For Coronavirus COVID-19
In news that shook the world earlier today, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson — a populist crusader, in some ways similar to President Trump here in the US in that regard — became the most high profile public servant to test positive for the novel coronavirus which emerged out of Wuhan, China late last year.
The coronavirus, named COVID-19 by health authorities, has taken thousands of lives around the world, primarily in mainland China and in Italy, which has a sizeable elderly population.
Earlier today, Johnson addressed the public in a tweet and video, confirming he has “tested positive for coronavirus” and that his symptoms have been thus far “mild.”
In the US, the highest profile COVID-19 positive so far is Senator Rand Paul.
