Blizzard Conditions In Hawaii, 100+ Mile Per Hour Wind Possible - News 12.4.2021
Is Mark Zuckerberg still in Hawaii? Surf’s up, Zucky! This weekend, Hawaii is under a blizzard warning as a foot of snow and 100+ m.p.h. winds are possible, according to forecasters.
Due to Hawaii’s peaks — some of which are more than 14,000 feet tall — a complex weather system forms around the Islands, and snow is not unheard of.
Still, this blizzard warning is a strong one, and comes with little prior notice of any kind.
Good luck to readers out there, and stay safe!
In geological news, a magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck near Calexico, California early this morning, and a similar 2.8 quake was felt in Arkansas yesterday — an area where earthquakes are not common.
