Wow — this is just pathetic. Visited our old neighborhood near K Street, having been away from Washington, DC for the last month… once the home of lively young bureaucrats and lobbyists getting their morning coffee, the great K Street neighborhood of Vernon Triangle has been reduced to shirtless men ambling around aimlessly, almost no police presence to be seen, stores boarded up and smashed out windows largely unrepaired from last month’s “peaceful” “demonstrations.”
La Colombe Coffee in Washington, DC has been boarded up since last month’s protests.
Alta Strada on K Street — once a hot spot, now an empty warning of what happens to a business when it kneels endlessly to COVID Karens. What the rioters haven’t destroyed in DC, the absurd mask required everywhere policies have. This isn’t the America I read about growing up, at all. It’s something out of a Philip K. Dick sci-fi novel.
This is disgusting.
FedEx is “open” for business in America’s Capitol city! Don’t mind these boarded up windows to keep the professional rioters away! Don’t mind the MASK REQUIRED signs everywhere. Love your freedom! As globalists implode our economy with a hyped up flu strain which doctors have referred to privately as a “nursing home virus.”
Even Prather’s on the Alley — a FULCRUM favorite — is not open for business at the moment. Weird times.
What kind of people do this to their own country’s Capitol? What kind of police force allows this level of destruction of taxpayer property? What kind of government allows this level of destruction and degeneracy, in a once great George Washington’s city?
Like it or not — the new world order is here. Controlled collapse. They’ll let rioters demolish your city; if it can happen in Washington, DC or Minneapolis, Minnesota, it can happen anywhere. And they’ll let dishonest hacks on TV prevent you from growing back your battered economy. By the time people return to the malls and locally owned restaurants, there will be nothing left.
