Via NBC News, the full livestream of today’s at times testy exchange with members of Congress and AG William Barr — at one point, Barr was asked about the Department of Justice’s longstanding policy on pepper spray use on protesters, and Barr clarified the protesters are in fact violent rioters, not peaceful demonstrators. At other times during the session, Barr was asked questions, yet not allowed the time or conversational space to answer adequately — instead members of the Committee pressured Barr into providing “yes or no” answers to highly politicized, loaded questions… which Barr often refused to do, launching into replies before being cut off by partisan opponents of the administration’s agenda.
