The Blue Angels gave the Houston metro area and New Orleans metro area a morale “pick me up” earlier today as the region combats COVID19 economic fallout.
Dubbed Operation America Strong, cities throughout the USA were treated to a Blue Angels extended flyover. This costs taxpayers no or minimal additional dollars, according to experts, as the Navy jet pilots are required to maintain a certain number of flight hours to remain active — and these flyovers count toward that requirement.
