2020 keeps getting more and more bizarre! US space agency NASA has just announced an “exciting new discovery” (details were ominously absent from the announcement) regarding Earth’s orbiting Moon.

By federal standards, NASA’s sudden renewed interest in the Moon is shockingly rapid — what did they discover up there?

The “new discovery,” whatever it is, is so significant that NASA has scheduled a press conference with the public on this matter. The NASA press conference is set for Monday, October 26th.

In perhaps a sign NASA has big new plans of some kind for lunar exploration, the space agency has reportedly begun wild plans to deploy a 4G cell phone and data network on the Moon — yes, really — allowing astronauts who end up there on a mission to take high-res photos/videos and beam them back to Earth from their smartphones beginning in late 2022, if network deployment goes as planned.
