Wuhan OUTBREAK: What You Need To Know In 60 Seconds

The Wuhan coronavirus has officially hit the West — and the numbers may be much larger than Chinese authorities have been stating. Uh-hoh, boomers: QANON has no antidote available.

Huanggang is now the third Chinese city its government has placed on “lock down” to slow the spread of the dangerous Wuhan coronavirus.

Huanggang is now the third Chinese city its government has placed on “lock down” to slow the spread of the dangerous Wuhan coronavirus.

In all seriousness, however, the Wuhan outbreak is one to keep an eye on. Xinqi Su, a reporter with AFP in Hong Kong, tweeted that “#BREAKING Macau got its first imported case of #WuhanPneumonia from a 52yo female visitor from the mainland city. She took high speed railway to Zhuhai on Jan 19 and entered Macau in late night that day. She had been staying mostly in New Orient Landmark Hotel on Jan 20 and 21.”

So, the virus has spread officially to Macau.

Doctors are reportedly scanning passengers on outbound international flights from Wuhan, yet according to Canadian Twitter personality Faith Goldy, “As I understand it, at least two cases didn’t present a fever, rendering this type of screening useless.”

Additionally, Goldy claims “5 suspected cases of coronavirus in QUEBEC & still no ban on flights in from China.”

Other social media reports state that the Chinese government is “locking down” a number of major cities in an effort to slow the spread of the deadly coronavirus, with the city of Huanggang — home to nearly 8 million people — suspending public transportation and shutting down Internet cafes, entertainment venues, movie theaters, and other public spots until further notice.
