On today’s TikTok update, we sound off on the unexpected resignation of Jacinda Ardern. New Zealand’s Prime Minister will depart her office next month.

A critic of vaccine skepticism and one of the West’s strongest advocates of pandemic-era lockdowns and other rights restrictions, she was zealous about vaccinating as many as possible in her country. She was also reportedly visited by her close friend John Podesta, the American lobbyist, just days before her historic lockdown campaign began.

Ardern’s rule will be remembered in the political science textbooks; perhaps just not in a particularly positive manner.
