Hurricane Ian Downgraded To Tropical Storm, Leaving Misery Behind - News 9.29.2022

Hurricane Ian has delivered an untold (so far) amount of economic misery on the west coast of Florida — with initial winds as high as 150 miles per hour. But the good news is that authorities have now downgraded the system to a still dangerous tropical storm.

Tropical Storm Ian is expected to weaken further as it continues northward.

It sure seems like they didn’t give residents of Florida much warning before this one hit… it will be interesting, in the days ahead, to see what the damage estimate for the region adds up to.
