Elon Musk Tweets Saturday Support of Bitcoin (Or At Least "Crypto")

Interesting tweet from the one who musk not be mentioned any more in the cryptocurrency community. Sorry, people talk about Elon Musk’s tweets, whether anyone here reading likes that fact or not. And people search for information on his tweets… so as a news organization, we’ve gotta cover this.

Replying to a fairly obscure YouTuber with only several hundred followers on Twitter, Musk wrote on Saturday: “The true battle is between fiat & crypto. On balance, I support the latter.”

Musk draws the world’s attention to crypto yet again.

He supports crypto.

The Elon Musk fans are sure to take that one to heart, but he has yet to apologize for starting the entire misguided narrative this year about Bitcoin being too energy hungry, when crypto mining might be one of the most ecologically friendly industries on the planet.

Also worth noting: when others dismissed Musk for supporting Dogecoin, we saw some possible strategy… using Doge as the “cheap” or “crappy” crypto to get Internet users playing with a blockchain, then they “upgrade” to a rare and decentralized blockchain such as Bitcoin or another “major” crypto.

He has spent a lot of time this year getting cryptocurrency on the public radar to millions of new people who had never considered it before, for even a moment. Now the question is: why?
