Tesla Now Accepts Bitcoin, And Will Be Able To Store It

In exciting news for the Bitcoin community, Tesla will now begin accepting Bitcoin as a payment method, and the electric car company reportedly will be able to store the BTC it receives from customers, instead of immediately converting it to local fiat currency as some other companies who “accept Bitcoin” have elected to do in the past.

This native acceptance of Bitcoin from a S&P 500 company is exciting, no doubt, and it makes us wonder if Elon Musk has plans for his other company — SpaceX — to accept Bitcoin as a payment method also.
