Joe Biden's Presidential Address / Update on COVID19 National Policy and Restrictions - 12.21.2021
Developing story: Joe Biden’s presidential address earlier today wasn’t the final nail in the coffin of human freedom that many expected it to be.
The President conceded some of the administration’s COVID19 pandemic response policies so far have been “unpopular,” and appeared to address critics of the Press Secretary by unveiling up to 500 million at-home tests will become available. His Press Secretary caught criticism recently for appearing upset that a journalist asked about at home testing options, when other countries’ governments have done just that.
Home tests are popular with consumers, as no visit to a public testing location is required and the test can be done in the privacy of one’s home.
In other news, Northern California was rocked by a 6.2 magnitude earthquake yesterday. Authorities ruled out the possibility of a tsunami shortly after the quake was felt.
