FULCRUM Competitor Wondery Acquired By Amazon For About $300 Million - Reports

As an end of year surprise, podcast news startup Wondery — a chief FULCRUM competitor in the News charts — has been acquired by Amazon.com for $300 million or thereabouts, according to media reports.

Wondery was created with the help of a seed funding investment from 20th Century Fox, it has been reported.

Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos. In an end of year strategic acquisition, Amazon has bought podcast news startup Wondery for an estimated $300 million or so.
